Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are recommended but not required. To reserve we require a require a credit card number. If you should need to cancel no charges will be applied with 48 hours notice. If less than 48 hours full charges apply.

Is there a kitchen?
Yes, there is a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ for guest use.

Are linens supplied?
Yes, All linens are supplied so leave the sleeping bag at home.

How much does it cost to stay?
$22.99 person for a dorm bed and $54.99 for a private room. Our private rooms have been designed for the couple and offer a double bed.

How late is check in?
10pm or later if arranged.

What time is check out?
11 AM

Do you allow pets?
Sorry, no pets out of consideration for other guests.

How far are you from Victoria, BC on Vancouver Island?
We are 2 1/2 hours north of Victoria.

How far are you from Nanaimo, BC?
We are 1 hour north of Nanaimo, BC.

How far are you from Mt.Washington Alpine Resort?
We are 25 minutes from the lifts of Mt. Washington.

How do we get there by car?
From the Inland Island Hwy take exit 117 and follow signs to Cumberland. Veer left at the Peace Park, turn right at the first 4 way stop onto our main street which is Dunsmuir. At the next 4 way stop look to your left and you'll see our sign and entrance. Also, check out the printable map.

How do we get there by bus?
Visit www.greyhound.ca or from the Intercity bus depot in Courtenay, walk across the street to the Driftwood Mall and jump on the first Municipal Bus to Cumberland, we are on the corner of 2nd and Dunsmuir. For the municipal bus schedule check out www.busonline.ca.

How do we get there by train?

From the train station, walk 3 blocks to the corner of 17th and Piercy and jump on the town shuttle to the Driftwood Mall. From here take a transfer to Cumberland, we are on the corner of 2nd and Dunsmuir. For the municipal bus schedule check out www.busonline.ca.
